A gem of Tuscany: Viareggio - Five Can't Miss Experiences


Viareggio is a small town on the Northern coast of Tuscany, nested in the area called Versilia which stretches from Viareggio to Forte dei Marmi surrounded by the impressive amphitheatre of the Apuan Alps. This little town has a quite recent history as it dates back to the XVII century when noble people from Lucca were prompted by Elisa Baciocchi, Napoleon’sister, to build their own vacation villas on the sea strand.
